RO-F Enter QC Codes
Purpose of Program
QC codes are user defined codes used to track rework labor in WO-F Enter Labor, or WO-M Batch Labor Entry or Data Collection and purchased parts bought off as "Use as is" in PO-J-C Enter Inspection Buyoffs. These codes can be a valuable element in an overall quality assurance program.
General Program Operation
Enter a QC Code. This is a two character, alphanumeric field, upper case only. The code is user defined. Codes can be created to track rework labor caused by operator error, machine error, tooling error, etc. If you are editing an existing QC code, you may type in the code or select one by clicking on the Lookup icon (or press F2). The QC code description will automatically be displayed. If you are entering a new code, type in a 30 character description. The program will ask you if you wish to save the record.
