DDCHECK Data Dictionary Compare (DBA Only)

Purpose of Program

Use this program to compare your data files and dictionary  to the current data dictionary update (UPD) files (fields, field lengths, record size, etc.).

General Program Operation

This program is run at UT-A  Run a DBA Program.  Type DDCHECK and press <Enter>.  You will be given the option of viewing any discrepancies as they are encountered in addition to the report when the program is complete.  The program will check the data files in all companies against the master data dictionary files and the dictionary files against the latest UPD files and generate a report suggesting corrective action which can include running UPDFILE  Update Data File
