SM-J-J Archive or Purge Closed Sales Orders

Purpose of Program

Use this program to purge (delete) closed sales orders from the open sales orders file or move them to an archive file.  A closed sales order is one in which all its items have been fully shipped and the order has been marked as closed.

Be aware that running this program has no affect on your sales history, which is kept in separate files that are not affected.

General Program Operation

Select whether to Purge, Archive or Restore from Archive.  Then select a from/thru range of invoice number, date and customer code ranges.  As the file is being processed, information from the items is displayed on the screen.
